Established in 1980, S.A.G.E. (Seniors Active in a Gay Environment) is a San Diego based organization committed to fostering a greater understanding of aging and to meeting the unique needs of seniors. We are dedicated to providing high quality life enriching programs and services without regard for gender, race, color, religion, sexual preference or disability.

Being active is an essential part of our philosophy. S.A.G.E. sponsors a variety of programs and activities for its membership and the community-at-large. On the first Tuesday of each month, S.A.G.E. holds a monthly social at the Inn at the Park located on the first floor of the Park Manor Suites Hotel. Cocktails are between 5 PM and 6 PM. Dinner orders will be taken at 6 PM. 

S.A.G.E. was also a partner in Aging as Ourselves, a community wide collaborative that provides a safe and comfortable environment to LGBT seniors to tap into culturally responsive legal, social and health related services. That program ended in 2009.
